Growing up we had a big garden, and my Mom would do a lot of canning from the garden. She would preserve vegetables and also make fruit preserves. She would cook them and sterilize those jars and lids. I remember seeing her fill those jars and tighten the lids down. Then when we heard the pop of the top we knew they were sealed. The preserves could be set aside and they would last in the season to come. But did you know that God is into preserving too?
